Noel is one of my past high school students whom I had the pleasure of teaching English in the eleventh (11th) grade. He exuded a combination of a positive attitude and belief in himself and was resolute in his conviction that he could always improve. He was a pleasure to have in class, and his positive attitude, even when confronted with difficulties, was an immensely admirable asset. Having been placed in one of the lower Grade 11 streams, he was not initially regarded as an ace student of English.

However, he reaped the benefits of his tremendous effort and found a way to make the subject come alive for him. He was dedicated, focused, and relentless in his pursuit to do well as he consistently sought constructive feedback with a view to improving himself. As a result of all his hard work, Noel not only improved his grades, but also demonstrated tremendous effort and growth throughout the year and ultimately passed English in the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) Examination in the 11th grade. As his teacher, it was incredibly fulfilling to witness a student make this kind of academic and personal progress.

He was talented and his caring nature and personality allowed him to work well with others in a team setting as he always respected others' opinions even when they differed from his own. Additionally, he was a trustworthy, reliable, good-humored student and friend who supported others in and out of the classroom. After successfully completing his high school studies, he pursued studies in the culinary arts and the culinary skills he acquired have propelled him into a successful chef. Noel, hard work is paramount to success, your diligence has yielded positive results, and you have made me proud. May God bless you with infinite success and abundant happiness in all your endeavours.
